IO-Link makes device replacement straightforward and provides access to valuable process data, while Modbus—using Banner’s PICK-IQ® protocol—enables faster, more efficient communication for pick-to-light systems and operator guidance in assembly and fulfillment applications. Its standardized form factor with 5-pin M12 connection and M30 threaded base, along with the combination of multiple device functions in a single configurable part, simplifies procurement and inventory consolidation. With custom configuration of colors, animations, and other parameters using Banner’s free Pro Editor software or directly via IO-Link or Modbus, each K50 Programmable device can be adapted to translate the logic of machines and processes into intuitive human interaction.
